"The Simply Not catalogue arrived yesterday, and it is stunning. The art works are so amazing, and there is my precious "Bloom". I am so anxious to visit the Holter and see all the works. Did you do the photography? It is beautiful. I haven't yet had the time to pour over the catalogue, but I will do so many, many times in the future.
"Sorrow" has so much emotion in it. It makes one want to cry. "Symphonic Suite" has so much joy. What an amazing balance.
Congratulations. This is a wonderful addition to my life." --Anita Kurtz-Magee, MT

"Pam, what a gorgeous catalog. I have enjoyed the essays and especially your own comments about your work, from which I always gain insight and inspiration. But of course the main point is the beautiful photographs of your paintings. You are absolutely right about being beyond the verbal! I will be looking at these pages in amazement and fascination for many, many days. Thank you so much for this, and for your lovely inscription. You are so thoughtful." --Ron Janssen, NY

"I am utterly impressed, Pam. You have done a fantastic job with your work, your show, and the documentation of it in the catalog. I am impressed with your motivation, stamina, productivity, creativity, talent, skill, dedication, and professionalism. You are a much-admired contemporary artist!! And it has been great for me to see how you've evolved as an artist over time...Pouring over the images, I see new things among the layers each time. The compositions, color combinations, use of line (fluid or linear), markings, shapes, text, all suggest a truly busy mind that doesn't stop."

STUDIO NOTES 2015-2016, Vol 1 (available in 3 downloadable formats: Kindle, ibooks and PDF)
"Join Pamela Caughey in her studio as she describes her two most transformative years in her 30+ years as an artist. Over 100 pages of “studio notes” compiled from her newsletters and blog posts which were all written to document her growth as a painter working in four mediums, the “dragon” in her studio, the importance of risk in her work, setting up studios for hot wax, cold wax and large-scale work (before and after the 2016 Roaring Lion Fire that destroyed her home and studios), working with Nicholas Wilton (who she mentored with for 7 months), learning and teaching cold wax/oil painting, international exhibits she participated in and her two year journey preparing for her “Simply Not” exhibition. This ebook has active links to videos and websites where content enhances the reader’s experience."
Note: If you prefer a printed version, download the PDF and have a local printer create a full color softcover book for you! They can even bind it for you ;)
What readers are saying:
"Everything I said about your e-book is true. For someone like me--and others even beyond my level---it will have such a Teddy Bear effect on budding artists and reminding other advanced artists about the gratitude of sharing. Every artist has learned from others. But not all give back with an open heart and without competitive, possessive spirit. That's why your book is so giving. And I am so happy that we discovered that people can print it out in "booklet" form after receiving the PDF." --Brenda Sunoo

"I felt like I was reading a Journal from my friend who I feel comfortable with. I appreciated being on a art/life journey with her as she explored her drive to bring to life paintings that spoke to her and had a story that needed to be told.
This isn’t a technique manual or a how to paint book, its a glimpse into the soul of a artist who does what she does because she is driven to produce work that she can be proud of.
While I am not on the artistic level of Pam, I can relate to her need to produce soulful work. I would love to meet her one day and say thanks for writing about her journey, Ive learned a lot." --Peggy McDevitt
